Hawkinge travelled away to Grasshoppers which has always been a tough encounter, this proved to be no different as Grasshoppers pushed hard from the start.  Hawkinge gave as good as they got with Callum Orris coming close with a shot which went wide of the post & Joe Brazier making good run's from his own half putting the opposition under pressure.  >>> click here to read full report

Hawkinge secured their second win of the season in a thrilling encounter with the Tigers!  Hawkinge took the lead within the first five minutes through Jamie Surridge but the Tigers fought back to level the scores just a few minutes later.   Hawkinge continued to put the Tigers under pressure with an excellent exchange of passes between Charlie Frost, Oliver Hyham and new comer Aaron Fox retaking the lead again through Jamie Surridge to take Hawkinge in at the break with a 2-1 lead. >>> click here to read full report

Hawkinge started as they meant to carry on & Mitch scored within five minutes, followed by several long range shots from the team & Jack Petts coming closest with the ball just sailing over the crossbar.  Callum Orris made several good run's causing Easterners defence to be dragged all over the pitch.  >>> click here to read full report

A very hard but entertaining game saw the U9s lose 2-1 to Thanet Colts. After an even start to the game Thanet colts took the lead after 10 minutes. HYFC U10's 8 - 0 Monkton Youth Colts - The first match of the 2008/9 season saw an emphatic 8-0 scoreline.  After a fairly even first 10 minutes Hawkinge win a corner, a good delivery from Tyler Simkins was met by Conor "Ted" Guilfoyle whose firm header crashed into the back of the net off the near post. >>> click here to read full report
